Movies In the Rain

Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels - First off, think of the Knockaround Guys. They have guns, mob connections, and they're trying to get cash. Think Rounders. Gambling, cute guys, vices, and lots of planning- not to mention the last bad hand. Lastly, think Clerks. Kevin Smith's first movie, gritty, in your face slightly better than a handycam. Oh yeah, and lots of the same language too... but there weren't any people in Clerks with their feet blown off either.

Overall, I really enjoyed this movie despite being baffled for the first thirty minutes as I had to reacclimate to heavy hackney accents. Oh yes, indie and british. If you liked Snatch - this will be a real treat for you. Lots of the same fun, and you think you know exactly what will happen, only you're very very wrong. LOVED IT! Plus Nick Moran is cute in a Heath Ledger kind of way.
